Year of the Ponzi

The herald wrote today about 2009 being remembered for the Year of the Ponzi scheme: I would have to agree. The interesting thing is that they combined the financial melt down and a couple of other issues as to why they were able to stop some of these mammoth schemes before they got out of hand.

I have a couple of issues on this topic: The ponzi scheme and the con artists that run these side shows wreak the entire industry for everyone else: What Industry Network Marketing and any other kind of legitimate Marketing Business. The thing that disturbs me is that if an average Joe actually done half a dig on some of these wild dreams: they would un earth them for the crap they are. But people dont: I have been stung a couple of times by people trying to fraud me: Luckily because of the way my affairs are arranged it is near impossible to fraud me out of Money as my consulting Services work the other way, you have to pay before I help you and I only invest in Companies with History and Reputation: I have looked into Amway: But Kane isnt that a Ponzi Scheme, in a way it is, but also its not because if you work hard you actually do make money: Unlike these nightmare schemes.

Thats my real issue is those who try and give these big ideas a go such as Amway and the rest are going to get shot down anyway for a range of reasons: But when these Cow Boys waltz into town well it just makes things ten times harder.

My other Gripe today is with Face Book who are fast becoming the next big Ponzi Scheme: They are racking in Ponzi Scheme type money, and yup its mostly all one way.

And many of their cash cows are set up in a way to take advantage of the vulnerable, the weak and the naive. Thus 2009 is the Year of the Con and The Ponzi. I n a way they kind of deserve to be stung the way the are, if you invest so much money into a Company you havent really heard of or a Company that doesnt have a good name like Toyota or HP or IBM, you know someone you have heard of then well maybe you deserve it.

2009 Year of Racisim

2009 was the worst year for race relations in NZ, it was good though as many of as actually believed that we had moved on and were united: To actually feel the real sentiment of the Community:

H Bomb in Whanganui, Maori Flag, Michael Laws, Hone Harawira, Maori Seats on Council,

The two camps were clearly defined, two teams clearly against each other: Its pathetic - A real defining moment for this country as we can see where people really sit and what views they had:

I dont think this is about race or the Treaty, its not even about respecting another Land, its a tricky situation: All are entitled to an opinion and at the end of the day thats all it is.

Some really dumb things did come out though and I think it shows how ill informed and how little though went into some of these suggestions:

Namely that China get a separate NZ flag and Seats: Is pathetic they didnt sign the Treaty our Founding Document: So on what basis does that give them any right:

And to top off the Year we had the Leader of the Opposition Phil Goff, adopt the Don Brash approach and start Maori Bashing - 2010 wont be any better, in fact it will be worse as we go into the Auckland Council elections: Plenty more to blog on this story stay tuned.

PM Enjoy's the Best of NZ from Hawaii

On the final few video Blogs posted by the PM - John Key stated that he wanted Kiwi's and visitors to enjoy the best of New Zealand and what we have to offer:

So our PM who just finished ramming through an ETS, and who is also the Tourism Minister: Packed up Camp and Family and is on Holiday in Hawaii:

Isnt it strange that the Tourism Minister is on Holiday in another Country?

I know that we are the best country, but it seems as though the PM says you guys stay here and holiday here and spend your money while I go off and holiday in Hawaii - probably to catch up with his new mate Obama.

The Minister of Tourism especially if you are the PM should not holiday in Hawaii, at least not as the main holiday, I am all for International travel - but a high profile figure, with relevant portfolio responsibility during the most important time of his portfolio should have stayed in the country: Made the most of it, and showcased a range of holiday options in New Zealand: He then could have taken his family away after that:

School and Recess is back around February - so a late Janurary holiday when no one is looking would be more appropriate: what kind of message are you sending by going to another country for your holiday: not a good one anyway.

He told us that he would be kept in the loop about what is going on - that would be more with regard to his role as PM - what about when we want comment with regards to his Portfolio: Traffic Congestion, Camping, Security, Whales so much stuff is going on right now, that he would have been better to stay in the country:

Not to mention the amount of money, taxes, fuel and other things we would all save.

Its been a busy year for everyone PM, and you wanted your portfolio and that role is just starting now - It may be Holidays, but thats what your portfolio is all about:

Helen Clark done a good job of being absent from her Country and Citizens, please do not follow her call.

Man throws Shoes at Bush - Lady bowls over Pope

That famous incident when a disgruntled Journalist took off and launched his shoes at President Bush has been taken over by a crazy lady who sort to reach out and touch the Pope at mid nite mass on Xmas and ended up knocking him over:

Security quickly rushed to his aid, took the lady out the back, and the pope a little shaken continued on too applause.

A few questions have been raised like how did Security allow this lady to get so close: Most video I have seen Security is right next to the pope on all sides: In this case that does not seem to have been the situation: As most Security had to come from a distance taking a few seconds to react.

An elderly Man part of the procession was taken away as he broke his leg.

The Vatican announced the Lady was mentally unstable.

It has been pretty big news, and there are many vide on on you tube of the episode: Funny enough they are actually all re posts of the same amateur footage.

Hmm Amateur footage, the last so called amateur footage I seen on you tube, was the Naudet Brothers and how they were filming a Documentary on NY Fire Department, on a closed street right at the exact time the planes struck the twin towers: Funny enough an Amateur captures a lady knocking over the pope? hmm - just happened to be within touching distance of the lady who knocked over the pope: Funny enough too was she was wearing a jacket very similar to a person who tried a similar stunt the year before: Funny enough too that footage looked as though it was in the exact same place this incident too place:

Either way these too our now famous: The Iraqi Journalist was said to have gotten a beating from the Police: However on this occasion as much as the Security probably wanted to I would say she didn't get a beating: How ever I would imagine they were very rough with her in terms of getting her to the ground and taking her quietly out the back.

Hard Year Ahead

What a year we had in 2009: David Bain, Michael Jackson, Napier Siege, Patrick Swayze, Brittany Murphy, Sir Howard: ETS, Financial Melt Down, Finance Companies, Bernard Madoff, Obama and more.

It really hit me today when I watched an Archive of Breakfast Show and they went over some of the events of 2009 I was really shocked to see how much we have gone through in NZ and the World. Some of the events we have gone through this year and also the past ten years as we also reflect on the past decade - with the two biggest events being 9/11 and Obama.

The Next few years ahead are going to be very tough, and will be a true testing time. Increase in Taxes, New Taxes, High Inflation and Low Wages: Will mean that people will learn to be more resilient and more innovative.

Private Enterprise will strive as people will look to gain flexibility and financial freedom, as the thought of working for the rest of your life and struggling: Compared to taking a chance and a risk - Be Rewarded with Flexibility able to work hours around your dynamic lifestyle: And having a greater control over how much money you can make.

Network Marketing, Franchise, Internet Marketing, Social Networking, Blogging, Media and other new and dynamic ways to making money will get alot of attention over this time, as people look for alternative ways that can make a residual income but fit around their busy lifestyle.

No Shortage of Frauds to Sign On to.

With all that is going on, you can believe there are no shortage of available Frauds to take on, a quick look and we have The Ultimate Fraud Bernard Madoff, then there was the WINZ Fraud, 120 odd Names 3 Million or so in cash, the good thing about that one is those assets once ceased have actually made cash - The Defendant bought Apple Computer Shares and Gold which increased significantly in value.

Next would have to be Leo Gao and Cara Harring, the two Petrol Station Bandits who ran away to Maccau, Hong Kong and China - After a Westpac Over Draft Botch - Netting these Super Stars a cool 3 million dollars.

The latest fraud has targeted Maori where a rumored Front Company from Dubai World is buying up farms in the south Island and securing long term food contracts. Dubai World which has already defaulted on its loans, and has been looking for cash and is in discussions with neighbors to bail the state owned investment arm out.

The Trust is also involved with a Person who is in Court Proceedings in regards to a 4 million dollar fraud in the Manukau Court. And is very closely connected to Maori - with regards to a cult like following and ponzi scheme.

Leaking Homes, Auckland Super City, ETS, Power Prices, Communications Prices,

The collapse of Financial Companies would be the other major frauds.

International Frauds as follows, Financial Crisis, Housing Bubble, Iraq - Afghanistan Wars, George Bush, Obama, Viagra, Porn, Ponzi Scheme, Amway, Kirby, Cobra, Nigeria and Pirates.

So as you can see we have more than enough frauds for everyone and we cater most needs - It is sad and the point is there are actually people out there who have scams and frauds that work, and are actually about providing a good or a service: Not just taking your money for nothing.

H or no H up to You

Maurice made the decision last week with the H-Bomb, and I think he made a good choice:

Saying its up to you how you use the H:

Private Companies would have the choice to change: How ever Government Organizations would be expected to tow the official line by including the H - It is a really big process, and there is branding and marketing to do: The new changes would only come during times when Admin and Branding changes are to be implemented normally around every few years depending:

I expect a few changes to be see straight away with the rest to be brought in over time.

I think its great, I know alot of people who have their name spelt wrong and pronounced wrong. So this is great for Mana:

Obviously there are bigger issues in the world, which is why its good we have got this out of the way and are now moving forward:

Its simple stuff really, when you get a Mail and your name is spelt wrong, you dont like it: You may call up and change it, but its something you notice: so no difference here.

Fly the Flag

Last week the announcement came that John Key was to tell the Transport Authority that Administers the Harbour Bridge to fly The Maori Flag: (Tino Rangatirotanga Flag)

And man did the out pour start: There are a few camps:

There are the bloggers - The influential ones anyway: who dont want to upset Maori people, but dragged the topic away into hey lets change our National Flag - to one of many fancy new designs:

There was the camp that just hates the idea period: Red Necks, who say it is separate, one nation hood:

There are the so called un happy Maori people: The Tino Flag is a brand used by the Maori Party - so they are the Labour Party members who dont like it.

Then there are those like me who love it and see it as a point for Maori.

It is not a separate view it is the best way to move forward, as we acknowledge two parties: Its only a couple of days a year, and no Maori view this flag as their National flag.

At the end of the day we are a separate people anyway, we work in different circles, we do network together but we feel better in our own groupings.

Maori have been forced to take on the Euro Centric view point, so its only just that they see things our way and meet some of our needs and demands.

Some Maori are said to be upset with the choice of the flag: fair enough, but they could have made more submissions, lobbied, and been part of the process:

Lastly I hope that we never change our flag: I grew up knowing our flag as a child I am not about to go and change it, its not something we do willy nilly, the flag is a part of us.

Hopehagen we can Believe in - Yeah Right:

Well the Cope 'N Waste O Timeo has finished: with PM John Key feeling a bit better now then when he first left, and can see some hope for the next round of talks in Mexico next year:

Well the whole thing seems a waste of time, and a huge talk fest that we are all paying for, so that the Ruling Elite can impose another Tax on the people:

Again I am all for saving, and cutting back on pollution, consumption and impact on the environment:

But as the Jesse Ventura's Show - points out this is just another Tax: A trading Platform and the ability for Big Corporate to pollute as much as they want so long as they off set it with Carbon Credits:

The Governors show is actually really good, for a Republican Type to hold the views he does is really good: He has an Amateur type approach, I mean its good its he uses his own people, they dont really have any more access than you and I but they are really persistent in terms of Investigation and Research.

Anyway back to NZ, in the end John Key was forced to go, and he done his best and he should be proud of the progress NZ has in terms of the rest of the world, and as a collective we can be seen to be doing our part:

The real issue though for most of my circle is they would prefer a domestic trading platform rather than an International where we would be greatly affected by International Prices and speculation.

Time will tell where we are heading, but this issue wont go away in NZ we are a very small community who get by with what we have, but imposing another tax on people and families already at breaking point is not good. National must be careful moving forward and not buy into too much of the hype: Its good to reduce your impact on the environment and put systems in place to mitigate your impact: But just another Tax is not what we need especially as we already pay some of the highest taxes in the world and are paid some of the lowest wages:

This is what makes us who we are, we are innovative and we know how to survive and make do with what we have got, its in our spirit and in our nature: We are loyal to NZ but John Key needs to understand that is why so many leave - Family they want the best and will go to all lengths to get it.

National should have opted for a Domestic System at least in the short term: And then looked at ways to lower the tax on workers and small business: And work towards getting more money into the pockets of every Kiwi.
